This could be considered the most difficult mod to fix; even before entering the game, black screen problems persist. It took me years to fix them. Despite its great story, gameplay, and content, it's an incomplete and buggy game with numerous launcher and startup problems.
probably the biggest LOTR mod ever
Cool
It ,,repairs" many aspects of oblivion lost like runnig with gun and saving.
A decent short mod that has some fun scripted setpieces in it. The baked physics animations are a funny gimmick and the restricted amount of weapons available to you forces you to think differently during combat.
I'm sorry Wrecx but this mod almost made me quit Amnesia, it ****** me off and ruined my motivation to play any game for 2 weeks.
It's just endless running in circles until you find the right way. And this keeps going on and on until it's unbearable. I tried playing sober and it didn't work at all. Tried playing drunk and it helped A LOT.
But I reached a point where I wanted to leave. Not just the game. I literally drove 1000 Kms to Croatia to clean my mind while swimming in the sea.
When I came back, I thought I'm ready but I was not.
If you made this 5 times shorter with more depth, it would be 10/10.
You know what, let me give it 10/10 because I'm glad I survived. This mod stopped CW2 development for a month because I hated video games in general.
If desperation, chaos and hating everything and everyone is the real horror that games are trying to achieve, you won Wrecx.
Never want to play this again.
Lived this mod, the references weren't that forced and flows naturally with the map prior. Absolutely loved HEV Barney, probably one of the best side-characters in HL modding, sad that he died though, he should've live :(
This mod is criminally underrated. One of my top favourite mods. It completely overhauls ZH to be a realistic RTS with HD graphics and plays like a hardcore Company of Heroes + RA2 + Call to Arms
Features:
- Realistic combat: tank 1 hit kills, MG will suppress infantry, units die very quickly etc.
- serious military vibe
- Combined Arms Warfare, Full-Spectrum Combat: China and USA especially have units that covers all parts of warfare: mg, infantry, mortar, sniper, AA, A-10, long range artillery, IFV, MBT, etc.
- AI is actually pretty tough and challenging. It will counter appropriately and send attack waves intelligently. And is able to use all the new units.
I've been keeping an eye on this mod for a long time while it was in development. It's an incredibly long-lasting game mod, fulfilled with new game assets from other mods(borrowed) and some slightly modified game code. But everything comes at a price. In this case, you'll suffer from repeated prefabs and designs, hordes of monsters, and all of that multiplied by three. It really feels like Quake 1, when you're thrown into confusing maps to kill hordes of enemies. There are even three helicopters here. The level design is quite bad in some places; you'll get physically tired of playing and running through them; I've never seen such repetition anywhere else. However, a lot of work has clearly been done, and well done.
Better than Total War Warhammer III, II and I.
Better than Warhammer Darktide and Vermintide.
Better than Warhammer 40k Space Marine.
Better than Warhammer 40k Inquisitor Prophecy and Martyr.
Better than every other Warhammer game.
All this is because Mount and Blade combines first person combat, third person combat, turn based combat, strategy like mixing Sierra's Lord's of Magic (or Total War Warhammer) with Mortal Online (or Warhammer Vermintide) and Civilization, while being better than all those games put together.
Looks like test map.
Респект автору за проделанную работу, это единственная сборка которая мне зашла.
Using solely for M2EX and mods that are compatible with it, I got to say, this is super nice to have, no need to make separate shortcuts, modified batch files, etc, just a few clicks to set up installation, and you can choose and play any mod you have installed. You can say what you will about the use of AI to make this, I understand, but I can't deny this being a really decent mod launcher for M2TW.
It's a high-quality mod series that consists of nice intro videos, interesting world setting, story, memorable characters, funny dialogue and good music implementation. It doesn't take itself too serious but the stories are actually intriguing. It has very easy game balance where the gameplay is basically collecting universal ammo and armors, and they are plenty so money is not even needed.
The story takes place in the Grechnisk district in NSR where many adventurers gather to search treasures. It's not the Zone so there's no anomaly instead the entire area is controlled by the NSR military and Smirnov's mercenaries Scarlet Raiders, they are neutral so it's relatively safe here aside from some mutants. It's just an usual adventure story but the event takes a turn after the protagonist opens up a sealed lab and happens to flee the subjects. The event disrupts the power balance in Grechnisk. Now controller brothers want to take control of it. And seeing the situation, another company Stahl steps in here. Leading by its favorite attack dog Mad Lenny and his crazed officers, Stahl invades the country. And you'll see what happens next.
One of the oldest mods for Half-Life, a mere 3 months after release. It's a short, but coherent adventure. Rough around the edges and light on playtesting, but worth a play to experience history.
The HEV-less start certainly was a choice. I kept missing the weapons which made the game way harder than it needed to be. I got to the part where the scientist lets you in to get the suit, but since I had sprinted weaponless all the way to that point, somehow a HECU randomly appeared inside the room with the scientist and killed him. It was then that I realized maybe I should have at least a crowbar.
Then it was just a pain not being able to switch weapons properly or see health levels when there's actually some pretty serious combat. Definitely made me wonder if I missed the suit as well at some point. Turns out I did!
Then I got completely ****** when I opened that door titled "DANGER". I mean I guess I had that one coming. So many boobytraps.
Natural-feeling level transitions.
Combat is pretty great once you get the suit. Weapon damage seems tweaked, but in general enemies aren't hard to kill. That's fortunate because you'll be frequently backspawned and caught off guard entering ambushes with doors closing behind you. Expect to die. It's not a gameplay style I would choose, but it's actually pretty fun here. Quick battles and quick deaths with interesting arenas make it interesting to "try again".
Nice mixture of Xenian and human combat. Encounters had a flair of "choose your own adventure".
Ending is a little janky on the 25th anniversary build with Gordon standing by the button while the jet takes off without him, but I can sense the escape vibe. It's pretty decent and well worth playing for a veteran Half-Lifer. And let's be real, if this is on your hard drive, you can handle it.
Ultimately, it gets a 7/10. it often pushes certain boundaries in a way that can be perceived as "annoying" or "difficult". As such, I wanted to give it a 6 because it commits many a Half-Life faux pas, but it gets a point for its age:quality ratio and because it still manages a wide breadth of "Half-Life" in such a compact package.
Overall just terrible. It's just a bunch of wide open areas with enemies randomly strewn about with no rhyme or reason, it's boring and uninteresting. The collision makes little sense, it's hard to tell where to go sometimes, just avoid this one.
good
good
Felt like a mod straight out of the early 2000s, but that's a compliment. This mod's map layout has made me feel this really weird feeling throughout, I can't really explain it, but it's really intriguing and kept me entice in finishing it.
Un 10 por esos gritos en el final y el chupasangre dlfldkdkdk
