Joao-Pierre S. Ruth
Senior Editor
Joao-Pierre S. Ruth edits stories for InformationWeek as well as reports on C-suite tech leaders across a multitude of industries and tech disciplines. He also hosts the InformationWeek Podcast, which brings together CIOs, CTOs, and other C-suite leadership to discuss their different approaches to addressing shared challenges. He joined InformationWeek in 2019, initially as a Senior Writer covering cloud computing and DevOps. He became a Senior Editor in 2023.
His work with InformationWeek garnered American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBE) awards in 2024. This included "Could the DOJ's Antitrust Trial vs Google Drive More Innovation?" as part of the team’s Government Coverage, which collectively won a Bronze National award and a gold Northeast regional award, as well as a bronze regional award for a Web Feature Series on the environmental impact of data-driven organizations published during Earth Month. That award included his story "How Do Supercomputers Fit With Strategies for Sustainability?"
He has been a journalist for more than 25 years, reporting on business and technology first in New Jersey, then covering the New York tech startup community, and later as a freelancer for such outlets as TheStreet, Investopedia, and Street Fight.

Madeleine Streets

Madeleine Streets is a senior editor at InformationWeek, where she shapes stories and contributes news analysis through a CIO lens.
She comes to InformationWeek from TechTarget’s Learning Content team, in which she authored explainers and features on a range of enterprise IT topics. Before moving to the field of enterprise technology, Madeleine spent several years covering retail, consumer finance, and ecommerce technology for fashion trade publication Footwear News. She has also been published in Women’s Wear Daily, TIME, Associated Press, SELF, and Observer, among others. The thread that ties her coverage together is a commitment to honest, impactful storytelling -- and insatiable curiosity.
Outside of writing, Madeleine can be found studying wine, singing in her local choir, and working her way towards her annual reading goal of 100 books. She is based in New York City, US.

Kelsey Ziser

Kelsey Ziser is a senior editor at InformationWeek, where she covers C-suite dynamics, data strategies and the evolving cybersecurity threat landscape.
Kelsey also oversees the publication's IT Leaders Fast-5 column, which brings peer insights to IT professionals, and the tech layoffs tracker. She has been with InformationWeek since September 2025.
Before joining InformationWeek, she spent nine years at sister publication Light Reading, reporting on a broad range of topics including smartphones and devices, AI, satellite connectivity and enterprise networking. Kelsey has a Bronze Regional Azbee Award in the Technical Article category. Outside of work, she enjoys reading four (or 12) books at once, watching movies about space travel, crafting and tending to an ever-growing collection of houseplants. Linda Tucci is executive editor of Informa TechTarget's InformationWeek and Data Center Knowledge publications. Previously, she served as executive industry editor at Informa TechTarget, focusing on AI technologies and leading a team that produced comprehensive editorial packages on a wide range of technology topics for IT and business leaders. Her earlier roles include senior executive editor at TechTarget's SearchCIO site, where she oversaw award-winning coverage on digital transformation, emerging tech, and CIO leadership. Prior to becoming a tech journalist, she was a business columnist at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Jacqueline Biscobing

Jacqueline Biscobing is executive managing editor of InformationWeek, handling copy editing and production of content geared toward CIOs, CISOs, CTOs and other IT leaders.
Prior to joining InformationWeek in October 2025, she was senior managing editor of TechTarget's news team and its Business Applications and Architecture Media Group. In those roles she copy edited and produced content that won National Azbee Awards in 2007, 2017 and 2023. Jacqueline was also custom content manager for TechTarget and managing editor for the company's CIO/IT Strategy Media Group.
Before joining TechTarget, she was news editor for The Des Moines Register's Community Publications and a copy editor at Computerworld.

James M. Connolly

Jim Connolly is a versatile and experienced freelance technology journalist who has reported on IT trends for more than three decades. He was previously editorial director of InformationWeek and Network Computing, where he oversaw the day-to-day planning and editing on the sites. He has written about enterprise computing, data analytics, the PC revolution, the evolution of the Internet, networking, IT management, and the ongoing shift to cloud-based services and mobility. He has covered breaking industry news and has led teams focused on product reviews and technology trends. He has concentrated on serving the information needs of IT decision-makers in large organizations and has worked with those managers to help them learn from their peers and share their experiences in implementing leading-edge technologies through such publications as Computerworld. Jim also has helped to launch a technology-focused startup, as one of the founding editors at TechTarget, and has served as editor of an established news organization focused on technology startups at MassHighTech.
