Townsend Program Teaching and Learning Fellowship

Fellows were selected annually to engage in a series of activities to help them produce and disseminate research on teaching and learning. The Townsend Program for Education Research provided dedicated time for College faculty members to conduct this research. Fellows could arrange for a course release or summer salary stipends.
As they completed their respective projects, the Fellows consulted with experts on research and statistical analyses to prepare a final document, which could take the form of a manuscript, article, presentation or similar form of communication.

This funding could support expenses related to presenting research on teaching and learning or SoTL work at conferences or publishing these works.
