• Access to research and library materials online and in print   
• Access to Washington Research Libraries Consortium (WRLC) materials   
• A place to study   
• Computers, printers, scanners, and photocopiers   
• Help with research assignments and using the materials in the library   
• What things you can (and should!) ask at the library

Student Success Collection

The Student Success collection showcases resources that will help you achieve academic success and develop lifelong learning skills. This growing collection includes handbooks, manuals, and guides on a variety of topics, including research methodology, academic writing, reading, and note-taking, as well as time management, stress management, and educational persistence.

Stop by the Van Ness campus library to see a pop-up book display or visit the online collection.

UDC Writers Exhibit

"UDC Writers" is on display now in the hallway between Buildings 38 and 39.

Stop by to explore information about the selected writers and books from our stacks, and discover student literary journals that prove the writing tradition here is as strong today as it has ever been.

Our UDC Writers Guide has even more to explore. 

The exhibit runs through December 2026.
