- This Shark Awareness Day, we're featuring rhino rays! With their unique long snouts and graceful movements, these shark-like rays are a true wonder of the sea. They are found throughout the world in tropical and temperate waters. However, some species have very restricted ranges.
- The 9th Manatee Release was a success, with 3 majestic manatees returned to their natural habitat. Thanks to the collaboration between @DWA_CREA and The Dallas World Aquarium, a total of 31 manatees have been released since 2007. dwazoo.com/conservation/p…
- Meet the Plate-billed mountain toucan. Found in the beautiful Andean cloud forests of South America, this bird truly stands out with its vibrant plumage and striking beak, shaped like a serrated knife. These beaks are specially adapted for peeling fruit and catching insects.
