    The emperor’s new clothes is a fairy tale... we should know this because when the kid points out how the emperor is naked everyone wakes up and realised just how stupid they were. In real life we gag the child and continue with our shared delusions

    At 2pm I asked Qwen3.6-27b to fix issue 41 of the github.com/stephenc/qex project. It has been running along across 3 M-series Macs for the past 2 hours and so far it has yet to decide whether to fix the same bug in two other places as well or just fix the one field from issue!

    Just gave qwen-3.8:27b the test from @orwell2022 ... this is one of the first locally running models that actually didn't do too badly... ok so it gave the wrong answer but hedged its bets while at it by giving the right answer too!
