Si su hogar perdió alimentos comprados con los beneficios de alimentos de SNAP debido a un corte de energía o a una situación relacionada con la tormenta invernal del 22 de febrero de 2026, es posible que califique para beneficios de reemplazo. Los hogares elegibles pueden recibir el valor de los alimentos perdidos, hasta su monto mensual de beneficios de alimentos.
    Para solicitar beneficios de alimentos de reemplazo: Informe su pérdida de alimentos a la División de Servicios Sociales antes del 4 de marzo de 2026 llamando a su oficina local o al 1-866-843-7212. Presente el Formulario 324 (Declaración jurada para el reemplazo de beneficios de alimentos EBT) en línea o en su oficina local de la División de Servicios Sociales, dentro de los 10 días posteriores a la presentación de su informe. Debe devolver el formulario con una firma manuscrita. La División de Servicios Sociales verificará el corte de energía o el desastre que causó la pérdida de alimentos.

    If you lost food purchased with SNAP food benefits because of a power outage or situation related to the 2/22/26 winter storm, you may qualify for replacement benefits. You must report your food loss to DSS by 3/4/26 and submit Form 324. Learn more: de.gov/snapalert.
    SNAP Alert. Replacement food benefits available. SNAP Logo (Grocery bag with food, text underneath, "Putting healthy food within reach." Text to the right, "USDA Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program"). If your household lost food purchased with SNAP food benefits because of a power outage or situation related to the February 22, 2026 winter storm, you may qualify for replacement benefits. Eligible households can receive the value of food lost, up to their monthly benefit amount.
    To Request Replacement Food Benefits: 1. Report your food loss to the Division of Social Services by March 4, 2026 by calling your local office or 1-866-843-7212. 2. Submit Form 324 (Affidavit for Replacement of EBT Food Benefits) online or to your local Division of Social Services office, within 10 days of making your report. You must return the form with a handwritten signature. Division of Social Services will verify the power outage or disaster that caused the food loss.
