ROLE: Sr. Coordinator, Events and Ticketing

LOCATION: New York, NY

DESCRIPTION: The Senior Coordinator of Ticketing & Events will provide administrative and operational support for the planning and execution of the organization's ticketing and event initiatives. This role assists with ticket operations, event logistics, travel coordination, vendor communications, and day-to-day project management to help ensure successful execution of meetings and events.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a willingness to support a variety of operational functions.

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO: Manager, Events and Ticketing

SALARY RANGE: $90K-$100K

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Ticketing Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing ticket inventory for NBA games, special events, and other organizational programs.
  • Support the processing of ticket requests, allocations, transfers, and distributions through our internal ticketing platforms.
  • Help to maintain accurate ticketing records, usage reports, and tracking documentation.
  • Respond to internal ticketing inquiries and provide timely customer service and support.
  • Assist with season ticket renewals, budget tracking, and reporting.
  • Coordinate ticket delivery and assist in resolving ticketing issues before and during events.

Event Planning & Logistics

  • Assist with the planning and execution of domestic and international events, meetings, hospitality programs, and special initiatives.
  • Support hotel rooming lists, travel logistics, transportation schedules, venue coordination, and other event logistics.
  • Assist with meeting room setups, food and beverage coordination, event materials, and attendee registration.
  • Aid in preparing event timelines, run-of-show documents, staffing schedules, operational checklists, and other planning materials.
  • Provide onsite event support, including registration, vendor check-in, signage placement, room setup, and general event execution.
  • Assist with tracking event budgets, invoices, expenses, and supporting documentation.
  • Support attendee communications and guest experience initiatives as needed.

Vendor & Stakeholder Support

  • Assist with coordinating communications between vendors, hotels, venues, transportation providers, and internal departments.
  • Gather and organize vendor quotes, proposals, and supporting documentation.
  • Support purchase order processing, contract administration, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Coordinate the shipping, receiving, organization, and distribution of event materials and supplies.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain project timelines, planning trackers, and departmental calendars.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up action items.
  • Support the Manager of Ticketing & Events by maintaining organized project documentation, digital files, and workflows within Monday.com and other departmental systems.
  • Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and operational materials.
  • Provide general administrative support for the Ticketing & Events team and assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Support process improvements by maintaining accurate records and organized operational workflows.
  • Provide administrative support with expense reports related to events and ticketing

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with ticketing platforms such as Ticket Manager, Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, or similar systems.
  • Experience using project management software such as Monday.com.
  • Experience supporting meetings, conferences, hospitality programs, or live events.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the event industry

ROLE: Facilities Coordinator

LOCATION: LA, Onsite

DESCRIPTION: As a Coordinator, Facility Operations on the Operations team for NBPA’s new basketball facility, you will be hands-on in supporting the day-to-day operations of the site, including monitoring facility conditions, coordinating repairs and maintenance, working directly with vendors, and providing on-the-ground support for events and member services.You will play a key role in ensuring the facility is clean, safe, organized, and fully operational, helping the Operations team deliver a seamless experience aligned with NBPA standards.

REPORTS TO: Director, Facilities Operations

SALARY RANGE: $90K-$100K

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the new basketball facility, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, organized, and fully operational
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of the new basketball facility to monitor court conditions, equipment, locker rooms, training areas, and common spaces
  • Log, track, and manage maintenance requests, work orders, and preventative maintenance schedules using Monday.com
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and specialized athletic systems, ensuring timely resolution
  • Work directly with vendors for cleaning, security, maintenance, and sports equipment services, tracking scope, timelines, and completion in Monday.com
  • Maintain accurate operational records for the new basketball facility, including service logs, vendor documentation, checklists, and inspection reports
  • Manage inventory, supplies, equipment, and maintenance materials, including procurement, storage, and restocking processes
  • Assist with operational setup and breakdown for practices, trainings, events, and special programming hosted at the new basketball facility
  • Support safety, access control, and compliance efforts, documenting incidents and follow-ups in Monday.com
  • Serve as an on-site point of contact for leadership, escalating issues as needed and providing real-time updates
  • Ensure all operational data and documentation related to the new basketball facility are consistently updated to support reporting, audits, and continuous improvement in Monday.com

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience supporting a facility, preferably in an operations, maintenance, or coordination capacity
  • Local to Los Angeles area with the ability to work onsite five days per week, including overtime hours as needed to support operations and events
  • General knowledge of facilities maintenance and repair, with the ability to perform basic hands-on tasks and assist with troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Demonstrated ability supporting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as coordinating vendors and sub-contractors to ensure work is completed to standard
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and liaise effectively with vendors, staff, and leadership
  • Resourceful and proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify issues early and support timely resolutions
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong sense of facility safety, maintenance standards, and compliance
  • Ability to lift 25–50 pounds as required for day-to-day facility and operational needs
  • Flexibility to support variable schedules, including occasional after-hours or weekend support when necessary.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working within a professional sports team or similar high-performance sports environment is preferred.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Senior IT Support Specialist serves as the primary on-site technology resource for the NBPA’s Los Angeles facility, ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations and exceptional end-user support. This role is responsible for maintaining technology infrastructure, supporting staff and players, managing AV and event technology, and partnering closely with the New York IT team to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient technology services across both offices.

LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA

REPORTS TO: Director, IT Operations 

SALARY RANGE: $125,000 - $130,000

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary on-site IT resource for the Los Angeles facility, providing hands-on support across all technology systems
  • Deliver white-glove end-user support for staff, players, and guests, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring all systems (network, Wi-Fi, printers, endpoints) are fully functional and optimized
  • Manage and support conference room and AV technology, including displays, audio systems, and wireless presentation tools
  • Coordinate setup, support, and teardown for events, meetings, and activations, including after-hours support as needed
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning, account setup, and access management
  • Partner with NY-based IT leadership to implement and maintain IT standards, policies, and security practices
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate issues related to network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and system performance
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and oversee equipment lifecycle management (procurement, deployment, replacement)
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers for installations, maintenance, and issue resolution
  • Assist in documenting systems, processes, and support procedures to ensure operational continuity
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and user experience across the LA facility
  • Provide remote IT support for the New York office, assisting with troubleshooting, system administration tasks, and project work
  • Support cross-office initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment and consistency between LA and NY environments
  • Act as a flexible IT resource, shifting between on-site support and remote responsibilities based on business needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or help desk roles
  • Strong knowledge of Mac and Windows environments, including hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, VLANs, switching, basic routing concepts)
  • Familiarity with AV systems and conference room technology (e.g., Zoom Rooms, wireless presentation tools, displays)
  • Experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Kandji, Intune) and device lifecycle management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace administration
  • Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles (MFA, endpoint protection, access control)
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and operate independently, effectively managing responsibilities as the primary on-site IT resource
