Definitions

• Service: The offering provided by Mailviews, consisting of access to HTML email templates and the HTML email components library.
• User / Customer: Any individual or entity that has paid to use the Service.
• Template: A pre-designed set of HTML email layouts.
• Component: Individual HTML email blocks that can be used to build custom email designs.
• Content: Templates, Components, documentation and other materials made available via the Service.
• Builder: The drag-and-drop email template builder tool provided as part of the Service.
• License: The access rights granted to you for use of the Service.
• Paddle: The payment processor we use to manage payments and invoicing.

Payments

Our order process is conducted through a third party payment processor, Paddle.com.

Paddle is the Merchant of Record (MoR) for all our orders, meaning that they handle payment processing, invoicing, and refunds.

Refunds

If you are unhappy with your purchase, contact [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase and we'll issue you a refund.

Transaction fees are not refunded

Unfortunately, credit card networks and PSPs charge us for the underlying transactions regardless of whether it’s refunded at a later date (industry standard), so we cannot offer a refund on the transaction fees since the costs remain constant.

Example: purchasing a Personal License for $199 + 7% taxes incurs a transaction fee of $11.15 from our payment processor. If you request a refund, we will refund you the total amount you paid, minus the $11.15 transaction fee.

Account and Registration

Purchasing a Personal or Team License, or a Template, grants a User access to the Service. We automatically create a User account using the email address you provide in the checkout page.

Team accounts

Team accounts are technically a single user account which you share with your team members.

Product delivery

The Service provides access to digital products such as HTML email Templates and Components.

These are delivered digitally after purchase, either via download links (for Templates and layouts created in the Builder), or by copying the code from the category pages on the site (for Components).

Disclaimer & Liability

Mailviews is a self-serve product, which means the User is expected to have an adequate level of expertise in order to successfully use and implement the HTML email Components or Templates.

We are not liable for any damages arising from their use, Mailviews’ liability is limited to a refund of the purchase price of the relevant license only, as described in the Refunds section above.
