Who we are
JavaScriptConverter.com is operated by RichScripts Inc, 201 Consumers Rd, North York, ON, M2J 4G8, Canada. We build a JavaScript to TypeScript converter offered as a web application and as a free Windows desktop app.
Code you submit to the online converter
When you paste code or upload files to the online converter, that content is sent to our servers so the conversion engine can process it. We store uploaded files only as long as needed to deliver the conversion result — uploads and generated output are deleted on a short schedule by an automated cleanup job.
If your code must remain fully private, use the free desktop app instead. It runs the same conversion engine locally and never transmits your files over the network.
Account information
If you create an account, we store your email address, a password hash, and basic account metadata (creation time, last sign-in, subscription tier). We never store plain-text passwords. You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard; deletion removes your account record and associated order history.
Payments
Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number, CVV, or other payment credentials. Stripe provides us with a customer ID, subscription status, and billing events so we can keep your subscription tier in sync with your account.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of first-party cookies required for authentication and anti-forgery protection. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Transactional email (password resets, receipts) is delivered through Amazon SES via an internal TaskCenter queue. We do not send marketing email unless you explicitly opt in.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your account data at any time from the dashboard. For any request we can't handle through the dashboard, contact us from the address associated with your account.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the “last updated” date at the top whenever this policy changes and notify account holders by email for material changes.
