Hi, I'm Osinachi 👋

Backend Engineer — NestJS · Laravel · TypeScript · Python Building production APIs and AI-driven systems for 2+ years.

I'm obsessed with the boring-but-critical parts of backend work: clean API design, database performance, and systems that behave the same at 3am as they do in the demo. Lately I've been pairing that with applied computer vision and NLP.

Automated Proctoring System — Python, OpenCV, YOLOv8 Real-time video/audio monitoring engine for remote exams, built end-to-end from scratch. Delivered 100% integrity coverage for exam sessions at scale.

Learning Management System (core logic) — Laravel, Eloquent, raw SQL Designed the scoring and grading engine for automated exam assessment; optimized query performance for high-volume academic record processing.

Bulk Academic Data Pipelines — Laravel Automated CSV ingestion pipelines handling thousands of academic assessment records for LMS migration.

Scalable Multi-Tenant Backend Platform — NestJS, pnpm monorepo () Architecting and developing a multi-tenant enterprise backend within a NestJS/pnpm monorepo, leveraging tRPC, Drizzle ORM, and PostgreSQL. The platform supports granular authorization, configurable workflows, entity versioning, compliance operations, and immutable audit trails.

  • User trash & restore — soft-delete workflow with Filament Shield permission policies; went through multiple review rounds, including reworking the authorization approach from custom checks to the project's policy framework
  • Login tracking — last_login_at/login_count tracking wired into an event listener, with Filament table filtering/sorting
