A Heat Advisory remains in effect for peak heat index readings between 106°-110°F until 7 PM Monday. This advisory may need to be extended later in the week.
Warm and muggy temperatures with light southwest winds. Low clouds or patchy fog are possible near sunrise. Overnight temperatures inland are between 76°F to 81°F with the beaches from 76°F to 83°F.
Hot and humid with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds. Daytime highs inland from 99°F to 103°F with the beaches from 94°F to 98°F. The heat indices are anticipated between 106°F to 110°F.
Hot and humid conditions continue with high temperatures mostly in the upper 90s to triple digits. Max Heat indices are expected to reach 106-112 degrees. Isolated to scattered showers and storms are expected during the second half of the work week. Please continue to practice heat safety by checking on the elderly, children, and pets, staying cool and hydrated, and wearing light-weight, light-colored clothing.
