LUCIAN is Co Owner of Sonic Fiction Recordings and emerged in the late 1990s, known for his deep, atmospheric, and tech-driven sound. His dynamic DJ sets, characterized by fast-paced, layered, and precise mixing, have made him a crowd favourite. This reputation earned him the opportunity to support some of Drum & Bass most influential names, including Calibre, Total Science, Bad Company, Marcus Intalex, Jubei, Commix, Aphrodite, Moving Fusion, Bailey, Ray Keith, J Majik, Friction, A Sides, Delicat, Operate, Rizzle, Etherwood, Fred V, Ulterior Motive, and Patife.
For over three decades, LUCIAN has been promoting in Sydney, creating successful club nights like Sonic Fiction, United, Momentum, Joined at the Bass, and Airbourne. These nights helped solidify Sydney's Drum & Bass culture, ensuring the genre’s underground roots continued to thrive and evolve. This dedication led to successful tours across Australia’s East Coast, including Melbourne, Canberra, and Brisbane.
After stepping back to focus on family, LUCIAN is back in the trenches with renewed fire, driving Sonic Fiction Recordings alongside MiRaj (Vice Versa) and ED GEE. Who are on a mission to champion the next wave of Drum & Bass talent.
