3.6 x 3.1 x 2.4 cm. Look how beautifully this Erongo Mountains aquamarine sits up on the carefully-trimmed matrix! What is more, it is doubly-terminated. And, unlike many aquas from this locality, it is really gemmy through the top half, with a perfect, glassy termination.

A very "juicy" cluster with about the richest blue color you can ask for in an Erongo aqua, moreintense blue even than pakistani aquamarine material. Superb, water-clear gem crystal , as i think is conveyed in the pics quite nicely. Note also the perfect, complexly bevelled termination! This is a light blue, hexagonal tabular crystal of very gemmy aquamarine, nestled in a carefully-trimmed bed of bladed muscovite. There is a smaller epitaxial crystal on its face. The crystal is complete and undamaged, and has a glassy luster.

Aquamarines from Pakistan are quite common. However, this gemmy specimen features something that I have not seen before, a deep blue cap, making this something other than your run of the mill Pakistani aquamarine.

Single crystal of blue aquamarine beryl 3 cm long nestled in 1 cm muscovite crystals. The beryl crystal is nearly water-clear and nicely terminated.
