Ahh well, being there I wouldn't think twice about setting up my own powerwall. I'd even consider converting my gas car to electric in case I can't get a Tesla or I'd buy an electric one. The problem here is the importation of the components. They end up being very costly because of customs issues, transport costs, and the rampant corruption in the country.
Hey, a few years ago I wanted to do the same. Install some solar panels, an inverter, and a battery bank, but things in the country got so bad that I invested in other things. Great idea, but I don't know how the whole import process for the batteries from China would be and all the paperwork. If you manage to make it happen, please share how you did it. Cheers
