Huh? Antigravity was released Nov 2025. The codex cli was released April 16 2025, and the web version in May 2025

Google is incredibly behind on this agentic coding stuff, and shipping Antigravity was a huge example of how out of touch they are by forking vscode.

My takeaway from the above literature is that covert restriction (just not having the food in the house) is what allows for parental control w/o causing future desire or significant behavioral issues around food. As far as what to do at parties, the evidence points to not restricting, and trying to not make it a big deal. Overtly restricting portions regularly leads to issues, overtly restricting types of food leads to issues, and parents project their own expectations onto their kid around behavior.

So in the end, it sounds to me that maybe you aren't as covert as you think, and your kid probably picks up that this is something rare, illicit, and desirable. There's also a chance that maybe you are covert, and the kid was overly hungry when attending a party with cake? You'll know best.

This is the reason to buy a Tesla. There are cheaper, or more comfortable EVs - but nowhere near the software.

I use FSD 96%, for my daily commute and errands. I only turn it off in parking lots and for confusing traffic issues.

Also children literally tugging on their parents begging them to come play, because playing with friends is something kids love to do.

It's my pet theory that we need to solve parental loneliness. If parents had more social outlets, they'd have less time to spend doting on their children's games.

I don't know how to solve that though.

Android Auto & CarPlay allow you to use... any software on your phone? as in whatsapp messenger, or my library's audio app etc all natively in your car.

It's absolutely annoying that Tesla doesn't have some integration with this, given it's basically standard in all new models of all other cars.

To be clear, combining all finances is equivalent to splitting exactly proportionally.

Makes sense, to me the outrage was more about impact to the resident's personal routes rather than the traffic of roads near the great highway.

Paving definitely started and traffic redirects were happening that first week - but the bigger work doesn't start until later. Maybe it doesn't impact these roads as much, and I don't know which "rush hour" this is referring to, if it was evening then it wouldn't have been affected anyways
