In order to be eligible for our BYOD service, a device must:

  • Be carrier unlocked (if unsure you may need to visit your carrier store or contact us for guidance)
  • Be able to be vendor unlocked (bootloader can be unlocked to flash a custom ROM - again contact us if you are uncertain)
  • Have a LineageOS port available
  • Not have any personal data on it you want to save (it will be completely erased)
  • Not be a Samsung device*

If your phone meets these requirements, it is likely that we can flash it for you.

NOTE: Payment is not due until we have finished our work. We will send you an invoice, and after payment is received, will ship back your phone.

* Samsung prevent any custom ROM (such as iodéOS (also spelled iodéOS, iodé OS, iodeOS, or iode OS)) from being able to make or receive 4G / 5G voice calls (“VoLTE”). As there is no 3G cellular coverage in the USA anymore (with any carrier), effectively calling won’t work on Samsung devices and they will be rendered “data only” (cellular data and of course wifi continue to work). Sorry about that! Grrrrrr to Samsung!
