The CSULB/LBUSD Math Collaborative was founded in 2011 to provide quality STEM Education and college preparatory curriculum for African American males from David Starr Jordan High School in Long Beach. The program is hosted during the summer by California State University, Long Beach. The two-week summer intensive includes Math and English instruction, leadership training, mentorship, and College preparation. Additionally, throughout the school year, students receive over 15 hours of tutoring per week. Further academic enrichment includes entrepreneurship courses, he
