ENSSEA | تم إنشاء المدرسة في عام 1970 تحت اسم "المعهد التكنولوجي للتخطيط والإحصائيات" (I.T.P.S)، حيث كانت مهمته الأساسية هي تكوين الإطارات اللازمة لإعداد وتطوير الخطط الوطنية للتنمية في مجال تقنيات التخطيط والإحصاء وذلك من خلال ضمان تكوين مهندسين تطبيقيين في الإحصاء والتحليل الاقتصادي، وفي سنة 1972 تم تعديل اسم المعهد إلى "معهد تقنيات التخطيط والاقتصاد التطبيقي" (I.T.P.E.A). في سنة 1983 تم تغيير تسميته إلى " المعهد الوطني للتخطيط والإحصاء (I.NPS)، ووضعه تحت وصاية وزارة التخطيط والتهيئة العمرانية، إلى غاية سنة 1987 أين تم اسناد الوصاية على المعهد إلى وزارة التعليم العالي. تولى المعهد: - -تكوين تقنيين سامين في الإحصاء (BAC + 3). - تكوين مهندسي دولة في الإحصاء والتخطيط (BAC + 5).
