Decent Size
I like the size, the large one can use clamps on the guide for fast setup and moving. Keeps fingers back on the router table. I can still use carpet tape on both guides as my normal process, the clamps are so much easier. Holes are useless, they could save money and get rid of them.

As you can see in the picture, these aren't particularly well made. The powder coating looks really good. The radii are easy to read. Sans instructions, these are reasonably intuitive to use.

Well, that is about where the good times end. I understand that there is typically a greater tolerance for the corners on a night stand or end table than the machines and components I design. However, let's reflect back to that picture once again. That's just a bit too far. What kind of accuracy could you expect from that? Not a tremendous amount, in my opinion. If a someone cares enough to employ a tool or template to achieve a higher degree of precision than freehanding, I have a hard time imagining them being happy with this device. It is either poorly designed or poorly executed. Speaking of design, I can't understand why they chose to implement a screwed attachment. Clamps will work, of course, but why the screws? And, if I can't use the setting brackets to achieve any greater accuracy than my eyes, why include them at all? I'd have preferred slightly larger templates, with longer spans of flat tangent sides without the pointless rails. I could at least line these up by feel in that case.

I did not pay cash for this item, but I am quite disappointed that I'll have a tax debt for it. Even reduced to that level, I don't consider it a value. This won't be a tool that I'll be recommending.

Having to screw into the wood is a joke. What a terrible design. Rockler has an equivalent jig that works just as well and doesn’t require damaging the wood.

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
To me this is a good looking tool that, in practice, might not be worth the hassle. My primary complaint is the need to attach the jig with screws into your project.

As can be seen in the photo, you are provided with 4 1" long drywall screws to attach the template to the corner of whatever you are rounding off. Already that is extra effort and destructive. But the screw holes are going to be underneath, right? And what if your material is less than the screw length. That's kind of a nit, just use your own shorter screws; than why even include them.

No instructions are provided and looking at the pictures on the Amazon page is a recipe for disaster. To use this template, once attached, you are shown to float the router above the workpiece and template with the bit's bearing rubbing the template. Unless you have a very steady hand, it is a feat to not knick the template or tilt it into the workpiece. Or worse, simply lose control. If you look at more pictures on the Amazon product page it is clearly depicted where the base of the router has been removed to allow movement of the router without sitting on the template. I suppose that might have been done for clarity of the photo? In fact, if you watch their video, it does show the router with the base on.

I submit that is the best way to do it, as in the video. You can simply run the router sitting flat, with it's base, on the workpiece. As long as the two black stops that are used to limit the movement of the router do not protrude above your workpiece, that'll work. They are just under 1/4" tall. However, if you need to do a radius at the router table, these are, also being underneath, in the way of laying flat on the table.

Be aware, and this is not a real issue if you live in the metric world, but the radii are in millimeters. For me, I live in the Imperial word and would be looking for a 3/4", 1", 2" or whatever radius. Nevertheless, the metric radii are good enough since I don't care about the exactness of the arc. If you'd be trying to custom fit into an imperially defined arc, it would be.

Truth be told, I will probably not use this template as a router guide. I'll use it to simply mark the arc I need, in lieu of using jar tops and other round objects in the shop, and take the project to a disc sander or bring a belt sander to it. On the rare occasion that the screw holes will not be exposed, I might screw the template down and use a router.

You get two of the templates with radii ranging from 10mm to 50mm in 5mm increments (except between 40 and 50mm). That's close enough to roughly a little over 3/8" to just under 2" with various increments of 1/8" or 1/4". That'll do. The materials and the quality of the machining, are great and the markings are clear but I do believe these are priced a little high. Three stars but close to 4.

I'm a very mediocre woodworker and not great with the router, although I've been practicing. I usually do all my curved corners by hand, attempting to follow a line I put on the wood. It doesn't go very well. So although this might not be the highest level router template, it's so much better than what I was using.

The pieces are anodized aluminum and look nice. I had to watch a video to understand how to use them but after that, it's really not difficult at all even for a beginner. Within just a couple corners, I started getting pretty comfortable using the template. For the small amount of hobby woodworking I do, I think these will work just fine for a while.

These Saker 4 in 1 Radius Jigs are sturdy, well-mad and work very well.

I really don’t understand the other negative reviews stating that you have to screw these down for them to work. You don’t. These work the same as most other jigs on the market. They can be held in place by hand, clamped, OR you can screw them down if your project allows it. The Rockler jigs mentioned in another review work in the same manner, but do not have a provision to be screwed down. That makes them LESS versatile in my opinion. The Rockler jigs are also made out of ABS plastic instead of aluminum and cost nearly twice as much.

Overall, these are good quality, versatile jigs at a decent price point. I have used them, and they work well.
