'WHEN YOUR OWN HEART ASKS' is a track that completely formed it's self. I had a clear vision for what I wanted the intro to act as, and for two months I knew which song it would be...until I was playing around with combining some files I had exported and arrived with this song. I knew the moment it became what it is now that it not only had to be on the project, but that it needed to be the first song.
The cinematic build up leaves one curious where the track will bring you, whilst the loose but sawing waves of dust-like instrumentation orbit around the dream like atmosphere that is present throughout the album.
As the core of the track finally reveals it's self, releasing from all the tension, a sense of awe lashes out at you with an array of care and deep passion. A deconstructed message from the mother herself (Mirra Alfassa), who's insights inspire much of my work, gives the track a unique ground to attain a presence of sorrow, absorbed by bipolar soil, born from a free-jazz intimacy provided to compliment a dread from which hope is trying to survive.
Like the ashes of relief, a waking enthusiasm swarms the listener, only for the track to trickle down into a silhouette of abrupt angst.
A balance that prepares the listener for what is to come. IRAKO WAKES! .

surrounding the..
nothing even around you, or worse..
formed the human being, whoever...
they might, in some full confidence that..
then the only way out of this world, this world is...
