We were honored to spend the week at the Great Place To Work conference! 🌟 This year’s agenda centered on hope, and our team walked away feeling truly inspired. From deep dives in the Executive Leadership track to actionable insights in the ERG track, we’re returning with fresh perspectives to keep building a culture that puts people first. As a proud sponsor of the event, seeing this community come together was a huge highlight for us. Cheers to building better workplaces, together!

WP Engine had the opportunity to sponsor and attend the 2026 Great Place To Work conference in Las Vegas. Over the past two days, we have taken away thoughtful leadership experiences, new frameworks, and practical applications of AI. Michael C. Bush spoke about hope and trust being the foundation of everything. Trust isn’t a "soft skill" - it’s a business multiplier. My favorite sessions have been: - Geoff Woods' session on The AI-Driven Leader, where he took us through the practical application of his CRIT framework, he demonstrated how to stop using AI as a simple tool and start leveraging it as a strategic thought partner to drive better business outcomes. - Angela Duckworth delivered a great talk on her most recent research. She shared her data-driven approach to what makes some people more successful than others: Grit and Situational Agency.  - Last but not least, we loved hearing from Larry Miller. He spoke about his book, Jump, and his powerful journey from a criminal past to leading the multi-billion dollar Jordan brand for Nike and the Portland Trail Blazers. Showing that some of the most impactful leaders come from the most unconventional backgrounds. We have had a great team representing WP Engine from across the business, including our ERG leaders and it's been valuable for all. Tarsha McCormick, Andrea Wofford, Jason "Geo" Geolingo, Dan White, Lauren Cox, Jeremy Trask, Libby Owens!

  • When your work shapes skylines around the world, your digital presence should reflect it. For Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), that meant rethinking a rigid, outdated site into a more dynamic and flexible digital experience. Partnering with Code and Theory, the firm reimagined its site as a more connected, story-driven experience linking projects, people, and research into a cohesive ecosystem. Built on WP Engine, the site delivers high-resolution imagery with seamless performance, bringing its digital presence up to the level of its real-world architecture.
