174 questions – an oddly specific number, and it's the most interesting part of this story. We've just published a piece about Mindset Map 🧠 – the personality assessment we built in-house. It looks at how people think, solve problems and adapt at work, and we use it in hiring and long after, in career conversations. The easy version of this project would have been licensing a standard test off the shelf. Justas Kupčinskas, our People Culture & Research team lead, argued for the harder version: build it around the qualities that actually matter in our environment, and make it useful for years rather than for a single interview. Which is why it runs 174 questions and not 40, why there are no scores, no pass and no fail, and why AI processes the results instead of a hiring manager's gut. The design choice worth dwelling on: it isn't a culture-fit filter. The goal was never a company of people who think alike. It was to see the differences clearly enough to put them to good use.
