Introducing #any2bazel - an agent-driven OSS tool for migrating to Bazel! This new project offers a simplified path towards migrating to #Bazel, and we started with #CMake (with more migration paths planned). any2bazel one-shots migrations of FMT, Spdlog, TinyXML2, and ZLib, and with some guidance successfully migrates more complex projects like #Ladybird, #Dolphin, and even #VSCode. See below for links 👇

💚 Thanks to Uber for co-hosting our #Seattle Build Meetup a month ago! See the 5x lightning-talk videos: https://lnkd.in/dcmP5TrU There wasn’t any plan to have a theme…but one emerged nonetheless: “AI is a problem, apparently.” As code is getting cheaper to produce, every talk examined some part of the machinery that turns abundant code into software you can trust. Thanks to our speakers >>> “Squeeze More Juice: Overcommitting CI Machines at Uber — and Surviving the Consequences” - Sergey Balabanov from Uber “A Professional Git Hater Comments on the Commit-Graph” - Waleed Khan from Stripe “CASFS: The Filesystem Behind GM's Remote Builds—a Terabyte Checkout in 10 Seconds” - Seth Bunce from General Motors “Tango: Computing Exactly What Changed in Uber's 3-Million-Target Bazel Monorepo” - Xiaoyang Tan from Uber “How to Triage and Optimize Bazel Builds with Claude, Build Analytics, and EngFlow MCP” - Jorge Acosta from EngFlow #Bazel #Monorepo #Git #CommitGraph #Claude #MCP #CASFS #CI
