My eclectic daughter got married on a raft in the middle of the lake we live on.  The dress code for the wedding was "swimsuits and bikinis."  She bought $1,000 of pool floaty toys (unicorns, a pizza raft, etc.)for the quests to lounge on during the wedding.  Instead of walking (or swimming) her down the aisle I delivered her to the raft on a pontoon boat.  A great time was had by all!

a glitter bomb bar, you could take them and throw them on the brides dress and they dyed her dress different colours. best time ever.

The wedding was held on Halloween, and it was a costume party!  Lots of fun, and the bride and groom encouraged us to play with the helium balloons - in other words, breathe in the helium and get silly.  A bunch of us got together and performed a helium version of Bohemian Rhapsody - it was hilarious!

At a wedding I went to recently, the bride and groom had both lost a parent and a sibling. The 'reserved' a seat for these beloved family family members with a photo for each. It was deeply meaningful.
