Definitely also use your nav to get to the Tesla charger. Some of the older Tesla superchargers don’t work with Rivians which I didn’t realize. The nav knows which ones work. 

If you buy pre owned from rivian they should be able to do the transfer right there at pickup. I didn’t have to wait at all.

There’s a NACS adapter for DC fast chargers / Tesla superchargers and a separate one for lower power AC NACS chargers like you’d have at home. I ended up having to use eBay for an OEM of the former since Rivian doesn’t seem to stock them anymore and the latter you can find on Amazon.  

We’ve found some at CVS and the Game Chest in Manhattan Village Mall but that was a couple weeks ago so ymmv. 

Yeah I've asked around at a few Rivian places and they appear to be gone from the gear shop (it said "sold out" for a while and then the listing just went away 3-4 weeks ago). One Rivian rep said Tesla made them for Rivian and they had a hard time getting more (who knows if that's true). I ended up getting one off eBay.
