One simple way would be to temporarily disable the PAT statement for your DHCP pool and test from a device with an IP address not part of the DHCP pool.


Could be that your tank isn't venting properly. Might be worth trying to duplicate and if the problem re-occurs, unscrew the gas cap and see if that resolves it.

Looking at your photo, you may have soldered the header to the pi upside down. The header pins aren't symmetrical, there is a short side (intended to be soldered to the pi) and a long side which in this application inserts into the mating header on the underside of the display. It's possible that the short side header pins are too short to properly engage the socket on the display.
