I have 250+ hours, unlocked most achievements, and beaten the game on Easy with every ship variant. On Normal mode, I still win less than 5% of the time. I know I am particularly bad at the game.

I feel ya. This is something that gets on my nerves as well. I rarely plan ahead so I'm often cleaning up my messes after the fact. Usually what ends up happening is that I incrementally build a vertical power spine on the left, right, or both sides of the colony. However, I also really prefer having the transformers in a steam room so I don't have to deal with their heat, which means I often don't build a spine.

One thing though is that I almost always plan for my ATs to use the heavy watt wire. I never use regular (conductive) wire on them, so that I never have to deal with replacing it later.

I think this is being downvoted because people are reading your sentence as saying "get their power from renewable sources instead of getting their power from water", which probably isn't what you meant but it does sound like that when one reads it.

Right!

Yup! I was just exploring Wikipedia about this, as I am originally from Kansas (Wichita), and felt like I should probably be more knowledgeable about it. There are barely 3500 Kaw people left.

I remember growing up that we learned a lot about the Native tribes in our area. I didn't retain as much as I could have. I know far less about the Oregon area.

Fun facts... Kansas is named after a people (well, actually, named after a river which is named after a people) which are called "Kansa". So, even Kansas is pronounced wrong.

In Kansas, we pronounce the state Arkansas like everyone else (without the s), but we pronounce the river Arkansas with the S!

Years ago my wife and my daughter met me downtown after work, and my daughter bolted across the busy street when she saw me. I didn't even have enough time to panic before she was safely over on my side of the road. But at least once a month I still imagine it and freak out.

This is extremely not true. You're confused about what OCD is. If it doesn't cause anxiety and disrupt your life, if your self control overrides it, then it's not "mild OCD", it's just not OCD at all. Simply having a preference for things to be a certain way is not OCD.
