Totally agree with you. My C5 numbers are wrong (and I’m guessing are last year’s numbers), but as you say, NFI about trusting LG online.
I have IRL updates that I feel quite confident in (but still can’t decide if I’m getting a G5 or C5):
G5 - Bottom screw is 10.25" from bottom VESA pattern: 300x300
C5 mount is on a hump - Bottom screw is 13" from bottom, VESA pattern: 300mm x 200mm
So, I’m gonna agree on the 13.25” number, give or take! Thanks for the correction.
C5 77" measurements here in 2025, from the online LG support-chat because I was looking for the same.

~For the 77-inch C5, the bottom row of VESA holes is located 208 mm (about 8.19 inches) from the bottom of the TV.~ ~On the 77" C5, the top VESA holes are located 552 mm (about 21.7 inches) from the very top of the TV.~
Because I'm thorough, I also got these for the G5, if anyone is looking:
On the 77-inch G5, the bottom row of VESA holes is located 270 mm (about 10.63 inches) from the bottom of the TV.
On the 77" G5, the top VESA holes are located 389 mm (about 15.3 inches) from the very top of the TV.
Hope this helps someone else. I had the same symptoms (scale didn't pair, brew-by-weight didn't work, no bt logo on the scale), tried fully charging the scale, to no avail.
It is ... surprising to me, but the "fix" to the scale was to update the software on the LMLM. Not sure if that reboot cycle or the upgrade itself re-initiated the bluetooth connection, but I didn't need to pair or add new, didn't need to unplug anything or take any action at all other than the LMLM update.
TL;DR - look at settings in the LM mobile app, and update gateway version if you've got one pending. Might help.
