Forgive the late comments but "Beef & Dairy Podcast Network" is something I've finally given up listening to. I enjoyed it immensely even before it joined the Maximum Fun network, but the recent episodes have been minimum fun. What started out as clever and subtle British-style humor has morphed into un-funny surrealism and Roganesque anatomy gags. I just don't like it anymore.

Precognition

Nice to meet you again! I really, *really* must thank you for reporting what you discovered about that pan and how easy it was to get parts.

If the Test Kitchen doesn't change their stance, perhaps here on r/AmericasTestKitchen is where we'll have to find refuge.

I got the Test Kitchen’s winning springform pan based on their article, the Williams-Sonoma leakproof. As I was disassembling it, one of the tiny, delicate silicone tabs broke off. Williams-Sonoma does not provide replacement parts.

I later learned that USA Pan was the actual manufacturer. Emailing them lead to free replacement parts arriving in my mailbox the very next week.

Where did discover all this? In the comments on the springform pan article!

I just finished watching the "ATK Celebrates 25 Years" and was sort of saddened to see that Christopher Kimball was eradicated from history.

So I searched and arrived here looking for more and find that I'm definitely in the minority opinion. I actually like Christopher Kimball. I think his on-screen presence and his interplay with with the hosts were a kind of corny joy to watch. As much as I appreciate Collin-Davis and Lancaster, they're just not good foils for each other. To me, Kimball provided (however artificially people would argue) the sort of "straight man" to the kitchen capers that ensued on screen. Even when he's dressed up as a crustacean, he somehow brings an authenticity. His forwards to the magazine were always a plesasure to read. (Hint: if your editorial of your magazine is just the table of contents in prose form, you're doing it wrong.)

Bring your down-votes, but it won't change my sentiment: Kimball's okay in my book. Sorry!

Ditto.

But to be fair, I can't even recall the last time I actually used Keybase for anything. It's definitely not the first thing that comes to mind when considering end-to-end encrypted communication. I think the creating and posting of "proofs" appeals to the software engineer in me, but probably doesn't for most others.

If you really want these figures, consider supporting the Kickstarter directly. Big Bad Toy Store will just be reselling them from the campaign.
