Didn't think the X-Touch Compact came with any editor software, but there does seem to be a new site that only has the manual:
https://www.behringer.com/en/products/0808-aae
Even the old version of the site didn't have more than the instruction manual: https://web.archive.org/web/20260201024843/https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=0808-AAE
EDIT: Looks like the site is back up, new format etc
This caught me out the other day, and I can see that it is catching everyone else out. From what I can tell, it's just the front end of the site, which is offline, the main content management section. (I don't work for them, just looking at it from the outside).
It does look like all the CDN-based links are still working, therefore, I have been able to use the version of the website to navigate around and find the links to the drivers
It is slow, but it will get you there eventually:
Front Page:
An example is I needed the X32 Rack drivers, so I was able to get to its links through here: - then click the downloads tab, and most of the page worked to get to the drivers
The download centre doesn't work annoyingly, but as you can get the product pages by using your favourite search engine, you can stick that into and find the driver syou need.
I hope this helps people!
I have used this link here:
https://web.archive.org/web/20260327230813/https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=0604-AAA
All the CDN links still work, so you can navigate the whole site and pick up most of the drivers, manuals and software for everything else, but this one specifically is for the X32 Rack (as i needed them yesterday!)
Hope this helps
NGL due to keeping a few spare as I knew getting replacements would be hard, and just replacing my USG at home, got a whole stack of these which are just sitting dormant. Shame as I am really not sure what to do with the, at all! Reading that OpenWRT will work does help a bit, but I do still manage a few on the self hosted networking controller, but it’s just sad them sitting there.
Only reason I went and upgraded was to get Teleport working, (which only after I get it all working, that due to having a self hosted controller means I can’t get it)… so yeah, thanks for so,e ideas but keen to see if there are others!
Run a volunteer led camping festival in the UK, and honestly kids cases over tablets is such a good idea. Stand out, easy to carry, easy to use, and in a field, safe as anything. Not sure why we want purple for ours, but if I could find one in the right colour scheme it would be amazing. We use them for a mix of the registration check-in desk and for remote payment terminals.
Also makes it so much easier to store too. We stack them up next to each other (upright) and they kinda pad themselves inside the box we put them in!
Honestly it’s a great idea!
