I saw Shakedown Citi kick off their spring tour last night. I hope there's a recording because this show was incredible.

Set 1 was stuff that never gets played - Pig In a Pen, Let Me Sing Your Blues Away, Tons Of Steel...really well done, and every song got someone in the crowd super excited.

Set 2 opened with a China Cat that I knew was going to be special. After an amazing jam that teased Rider a few times, they went to Iko Iko instead. Then Althea, which got the younger members of the crowd very pumped. The I Need a Miracle which eventually went to another jam, and then finally brought us into Rider. It was transcendent. The rest of set 2 was awesome.

This was an amazing experience, I am so glad I saw them. If you can catch them on this tour, I would highly recommend it.

Looking for other deadheads and jam enthusiasts to go to shows with or get together and listen/sing/jam.

I’m going to the Mystic Dead and King Saison show tomorrow (11/29) in Windsor Locks - anyone else going and want to meet up?
