Yes! I know lots of people making dance music for a living that rarely DJ.

Mixing is completely DAW-independent. A lot of "oomph" also comes from composition and sound choices. With that said, I'd suggest studying your favorite tracks and figure out what yours are missing in comparison. I'm afraid there's no magic trick to achieve a "good" mix, contrary to what some YouTube videos might claim.
