I did it!

The weird thing was that I had already tried to do a clean install, to no avail. But today I noticed that in the system registry there were other Plex Media Server keys for other pc users, so I completely removed all those keys and made sure to also delete all of the Local App data and now it's working.

Thank you! If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have tried again with the clean install :D

Plex Setup infinite loading from localhost

Hello everyone, I'm not really new to Plex, as I had for a while a Plex server running on a Raspberry, but I decided to install the media server on my Windows PC, too, and I cannot get it working.

After installing successfully the server (I tried both the latest stable and beta version), I try to setup the server (adding folders etc), but accessing the server from localhost from the PMS icon in the toolbar and logging in gives me an infinite loading screen (the usual orange circle rotating on the dark gray background), instead of the setup page.

I initially thought it was because of browsers or adblocks, but nt combination whatsoever gets it working (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, no ublock origin)

Has anyone experienced something like this? Reading the logs, it looks like that the server is running fine, but I'm failing to understand why the setup is not working.

Thank you!

Not a movie, but Antkind: a novel, by my beloved Charlie Kaufman, is a novel about a film critic who watched a silent movie of the duration of 3 months and, because of an accident, he forgets it and then spends all the novel to try remembering it in a surreal and bizzarre world.
