The RCMP is committed to protecting the privacy rights of individuals and safeguarding the personal information under its control as defined in section 3 of the Privacy Act.

The personal information you provide will be collected and used for publishing testimonials on the RCMP’s external website, and for evaluating, improving, and enhancing our programs and services. Your information will be retained and disposed of in accordance with section 6 of the Privacy Act.

The personal information collected is described in Personal Information Bank PSU 938 – Outreach Activities and Personal Information Bank PSU 914 – Public Communications. Under the Privacy Act  you have the right of access to, and correction of, your personal information. To exercise either of these rights, contact RCMP's Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator. If you are not satisfied with the RCMP's response to your privacy concern, you may wish to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
