My name is Nick Decker. I am University of Waterloo alumnus and a second year master's candidate at the University of Manitoba studying the inorganic carbon system of the ocean. In particular, I am interested in ocean acidification in the Arctic Ocean. My research revolves around quantifying inorganic carbon and determining the regional controls within coastal environments. At the moment, I am focused on the inorganic carbonate system of James Bay.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, rock climbing, and canoeing. Additionally, I studied geoscience during my undergraduate degree which ignited my passion for rocks! Feel free to ask me about any of these things!
