The Leonard Gordon Park Conservancy is proud to host Bucket Drumming classes at the park this summer! The program consist of twelve (12) forty-five minutes (45) sessions of bucket drumming for kids 8-16 years old. Classes are taught by a local Jersey City Resident and Bucket Drumming enthusiast. Class Information: Mondays, June 7, 14, 21 & 28; July 12, 19 & 26; August 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30 Time: 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Student size: 25 max - Suggested registration- $50. - If you wish to sponsor a child, contact us. The Leonard Gordon Park Conservancy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. - Participants will be selected per the priority list below: - Jersey City Heights residents - Jersey City residents - Hudson County Residents. The Leonard Gordon Park Conservancy is hosting a one day event to assess the need for a soccer program at Leonard Gordon Park aka Mosquito Park. Date: Saturday, May 22, 2021 Time: 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. (Age 4-5) Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Age 6-8) Time: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Age 9-12) Required: Comfortable shoes and clothing Registration is on a First Come basis. We will confirm you registration.
