Decker is a painting program. It's also a presentation tool, a database, and a game engine. It's a holistic medium and toolkit for digital arts and crafts. You could write a zine, build an adventure game, make a utility program, or doodle some pixel art, all in a single environment which erases the divisions between users and authors.

You can try Decker in your browser right now! Not sure how to get started? Read and play along with Phinxel's Phield Notes, an interactive Decker tutorial.

Combine drawings and photographs with behaviors:

Build games and toys,

And even useful applications!

Decker provides a novel scripting language called Lil, which is easy to learn but highly expressive. Simple things are easy, and complex things are possible.

You can save your decks as a single, self-contained .html file suitable for sharing on your website or publishing here on Itch!

Source code for Decker is available on GitHub, and the latest documentation is available here. Decker will always be free and open-source. If you enjoy using Decker, please tell other people about it!
