We value our privacy, hence the anonymous name here. My husband and I are just after finishing a program with Thinkable for our 7 year old son. A quick review of our experience that we thought other families might find helpful: 1) The dedication of the trainer who worked with our son was fantastic; 2) Her engagement with our child was excellent and he was highly motivated to work with her, despite some frustrations with challenging tasks that he had to complete. We were always surprised at how much he loved attending his sessions; 3) The investment was absolutely worth it and we have considered doing a program for another family member after we take a break from this one; 4) The outcomes were far above our expectations - and our expectations were high; 5) Despite needing to commit to 5-days-a-week sessions for 6 months because of what our son needed, that was exactly how it helped. We know now that it was necessary to have consistent sessions and we are delighted with the improvements and learning outcomes; 6) The program wasn't routine or boring and it wasn't formulaic - it was exactly what our son needed and nothing more and no up-sells of unnecessary services; 7) It was very personalized to our son's specific needs. I hesitate to say weaknesses, because our son is very intelligent - but we have some phenomenal gains in working memory, attention & focus, and logic which have actually helped behavior and emotional regulation more than other things we've tried; 8) The trainer knew what she was doing - it wasn't just marketing jargon - she went way beyond the theories, frameworks, & methodologies you read about. The speech & language components of the program that they built for our son were highly adapted to his specific issues in a way that previous SLT interventions weren't able to correct. This was an unexpected bonus and it allowed us to stop having so many sessions in so many places to accomplish multiple skill improvements at the same time. Ultimately, we just did the program with Thinkable and we were able to successfully discontinue the SLT. I am writing this from the end of the post-program results session so that it doesn't get lost on my list of things to do. We saw the changes all along the way of this program, but the way that our son's trainer documented the before/after was really helpful in reminding us where we started and just how big the gains across the program were. We would highly recommend this to any family to help their student get ahead in literacy and math, but despite the outcomes of those being excellent, we are more impressed with the emotional regulation, attention, and behavioral changes we've seen. We leave Thinkable very happy customers.

I'm very involved in speed cubing in Dublin and the main reason I wanted to do brain training is because I wanted to reduce my cubing times. I didn't expect the brain training would actually be that challenging. I find it fun even when it is hard and the result so far has been that my cubing time keeps getting smaller. The world record was just broken a couple of days ago, making it even harder to win the 3x3 cubing championships. I think the brain training might be my only advantage to try and break it. I'm still going to try! The trainers at Thinkable support my goal and help me figure out how to work towards it. My program is specifically focused on the processing speed parts that can help me get faster. My parents are happy with me because I've stuck with it and keep trying. I am still improving so I will keep going. I hope another kid reads this and thinks they can do it too.

On discovering I have ADHD last summer I attended Thinkable for a Gibson Test, Michelle and Csaba were very understanding and helpful, they recommended an intensive programme to help me improve my working memory and executive function. I completed the programme just before Christmas and it’s been truly life changing. As a family we had our best holidays yet, I was much calmer and didn’t feel stressed at all. I feel so much more content and confident, things have markedly improved in all areas of my life. Michelle is the most knowledgeable person I’ve ever met and I’ll never be able to thank her and Csaba enough for the support and encouragement that they’ve shown me. For the last thirty years or so, I’ve wondered why certain aspects of life were more challenging for me than my friends and family, I finally understand why and am learning how to cope with the help of Thinkable!
