Hello. I'm MindlesssMint, a 34 year old black woman picking up a dream I dropped in my younger years. After years of uncertainty and doubt over whether I could build a career off of my passion for art, storytelling, and music, I decided to take the plunge and make all these ideas that have swarmed my mind a reality. My art consists of illustrations related to things I love: anime, music, manga, cartoons, and storytelling. Aside from creating illustrations, I am also working on two projects: Awiri and Dreaming Of A Lost World.

Awiri is a story about a woman fighting to find her place as a soldier in a cut throat world, fulfilling the dream of her long-lost sister to get out of poverty and into the upper ranks in order to have a better life. But things do not go as planned. As she continues to prove her strength among her peers and gain the attention of the higher ups, she is one day faced with a formidable foe that makes her question her entire identity. Is being the strongest soldier really what she always wanted? And who is this mysterious new villain that has appeared and turned her life upside down?

Dreaming of A Lost World is a slice of life about a troubled woman, Crystal in her 30s, still wandering aimlessly through life without any true place of her own. Due to extreme traumas and social isolation, she has curated a dream in her mind to help her survive her lonely existence. As time goes by and she gets older, she is finding it harder to daydream, but similarly finding it just as hard to exist in reality. As adult responsibilities become more apparent, Crystal senses a strong delusion trying to chokehold her to remain unrealistic. But in her quest to become an independent woman, she meets a friend who walks with her on her journey to embracing real life.
