Our Vision / Mission

At AFCM International, our mission is to connect, equip, and support ministers worldwide with the tools and recognition they need to walk confidently in their calling. One of the foundational services we provide is ministry ordination—a formal acknowledgment of your call to serve, grounded in spiritual integrity and biblical authority.

Whether you are just beginning your ministry journey or have served for years, AFCM offers a path to official minister ordination that honors your commitment, affirms your leadership, and strengthens your role within the Body of Christ.

Understanding Minister Ordination Through AFCM

Ordination is more than a title – it’s a sacred affirmation of a divine calling. At AFCM, our minister ordination process is designed for pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and ministry leaders who demonstrate spiritual maturity, doctrinal soundness, and a passion to serve. Our ordination is not just symbolic; it comes with the support, accountability, and covering of a global fellowship committed to advancing the Gospel with excellence and integrity.

As an ordained minister with AFCM, you are recognized as someone who has met rigorous spiritual and ethical standards, confirmed by leadership that values biblical truth and Holy Spirit-led ministry. You gain more than credentials—you gain a family of like-minded believers who walk with you in faith and purpose.

Walking the Path of Ministry Ordination

The journey to ministry ordination with AFCM begins with a clear application process, including ministry background, statement of faith, and personal testimony. Candidates are prayerfully considered and must demonstrate a life of ministry fruitfulness and character. We take our role seriously in identifying and commissioning those who are called so that their leadership bears lasting Kingdom impact.

Once ordained, ministers are empowered with resources to continue their spiritual growth and ministry development. This includes access to AFCM events, teaching materials, leadership networks, and mission opportunities around the world. Ordained ministers are also eligible to officiate weddings, baptisms, and other sacred ceremonies recognized within most ecclesiastical and legal contexts.

Supporting You Beyond the Certificate

At AFCM, ordination is not a finish line—it’s a launchpad. We believe that minister ordination should open doors for ongoing growth, fresh vision, and increased impact. That’s why our ordained members receive continuous encouragement and spiritual care from seasoned leaders and peers. We walk alongside you—not only during milestones but also in the daily challenges of ministry life.

We recognize that today’s ministers need more than credentials; they need connection, encouragement, and wisdom from those who have walked the path ahead. Through AFCM ordination, you gain access to all of that and more.

AFCM History

Jim Kaseman entered full-time ministry in 1975 when he accepted the invitation to pastor a church in Minnesota. A year later, Jim Kaseman Ministries was founded and became instrumental in establishing 27 churches in Minnesota and the surrounding region.

In 1978, Jim and his wife, Kathleen, founded the Association of Faith Churches and Ministers (AFCM) to equip and empower ministers, promote unity, and take the Word of Faith message around the world. What began as a fellowship of like-minded ministers has grown into a global movement of churches, missionaries, and ministries committed to preaching the Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit.

AFCM has developed over the years into a worldwide movement of churches, pastors, itinerant ministers, and missionaries, dedicated to bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations in the power of the Holy Spirit. Hundreds of churches have been established, millions of books translated, printed, and distributed, and tons of humanitarian aid distributed by AFCM members to countries in need. In 1998, AFCM launched the International Training Center, which has since grown to over 600 video bible schools around the world.

Jim and Kathleen were married for nearly 58 years before her homegoing. Today, Jim continues to fulfill the call of God on his life, ministering across the globe with a message of faith, love, and the transforming power of God’s Word.

AFCM Philippines

AFCM is experiencing remarkable growth throughout the Philippines. Pastors across the nation are discovering the family nature of AFCM through youth camps, the AFCM International Training Center, and our Family Reunion gatherings.

Many who have joined share how, during difficult seasons, an AFCM leader reached out with prayer, encouragement, and wise counsel. They often say, “No other organization has ever done that for us.” In addition to spiritual support, AFCM-Philippines is actively involved in humanitarian aid and disaster relief, bringing hope and practical help to communities in need.

We’re thrilled to report that AFCM-Philippines now has 124 members, most of whom joined within the past year. God is truly building something special, and we’re honored to be part of it. By partnering with AFCM Philippines, you’re helping to equip leaders, establish churches, and bring the hope of God’s Word to those who need it most.

AFCM Latin America

AFCM Latin America continues to expand its reach with passion and purpose. One AFCM member put it best: “The leaders are genuinely interested in reaching out to everyone with the gospel of Jesus Christ and have given their lives to Jesus in everything they do to see it accomplished.”

In Peru, AFCM hosts Family Reunion meetings in multiple regions—each one marked by hunger for the Word, the presence of God, and life-changing results. The most recent AFCM Peru Family Reunion saw daytime attendance of 300 and evening crowds of over 400. There were 58 salvations, 54 rededications, 45 notable healings, and 21 water baptisms, evidence of God’s powerful move among the people.

Beyond Peru, AFCM Latin America includes members in Costa Rica and Mexico, with members actively working in Honduras and Nicaragua. The reach continues to grow as leaders plant churches, train disciples, and bring the hope of the Gospel to their regions.
Every gift helps train leaders, plant churches, and bring the life-changing message of the Gospel to places others can’t reach.

AFCMITC Kenya Prison Project

AFCM International is transforming lives behind bars through our AFCM International Training Centers (AFCMITC) in Kenya’s prisons. What began as a handful of Bible schools in 2006 has grown into a powerful movement. In partnership with Disciples of Mercy, led by Jennie Roberts, the Kenya Prison Project now operates 64 Bible schools and has seen over 17,000 graduates.

The impact doesn’t stop at graduation. One powerful testimony tells of a former inmate who, after his release, planted a growing church in Nairobi. With support from AFCM, he received the equipment needed to start Bible school classes, and students are actively growing in their faith. Another recently released graduate has joined him in ministry, boldly stepping out in faith to reach others.

Their mission? To plant churches and bring the Gospel to even more people. As one of them shared, “What we learned from Jim Kaseman will explode. This work for inmates was not for nothing—it’s bearing fruit!”

We currently have access to 80 prisons in Kenya, and with your support, we can reach them all. When you give to AFCM, you are investing in life-changing missions like this—equipping leaders, planting churches, and watching God’s Word transform lives.

Salvation is a gift that is made available to those who repent, believe, and confess that Jesus is Lord and that He died and rose from the dead to save mankind (Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10). You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer.

“Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I open the door of my heart and receive Jesus as my Savior and the Lord of my life. I believe Jesus died and was raised from the dead for me. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. In Jesus’ name, Amen”
