MCP lets AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, or VS Code talk directly to your WooCommerce store using natural language. Picture this: You say something like, "Show me my low-stock products" or "Create a product called Winter Hoodie for $39.99." And then your store actually does it. No clicking through the dashboard, no manual REST API calls. It’s just a natural conversation turning into real store actions. That’s what MCP enables. In part one of our three-part series, Kamlesh Vidhani shares what MCP is, how it works, and how to get started. Explore it with us: https://lnkd.in/eeUu5PDZ

If you've watched the order management screen crawl on a server that should be fast, the query numbers explain why. WooCommerce 10.7 cuts those queries in half. But that's not the only thing worth noting in the latest version of WooCommerce. Brent MacKinnon has the full rundown: https://lnkd.in/eBdPG9M5

Most commerce platforms are changing how much they charge for payments, including charging based on which providers you choose. That's not the path we're going down with WooCommerce. Payment providers, integrations, and how your store scales are all core to how your business operates. If those decisions start to carry penalties, it changes how you build, and limits your freedom. We've intentionally kept Woo's core platform open, especially as businesses grow and get more complex. That flexibility isn't a phase. It's the architecture. And it's the principle. We’re investing in models that enable new functionality and fund the platform — in ways that preserve that flexibility, not limit it. The product should expand what you can do over time. That’s what we’re building toward.

It’s one of the most exciting spaces for new business owners right now. But a great market doesn't guarantee a great business. You still need the right niche, a solid plan, and the tools to back it up. From market research and pricing to building your online store, here’s a step-by-step breakdown for starting a pet business: https://lnkd.in/e8JyFiWt

PHP is the engine behind your WooCommerce store. You don't interact with it directly — but the version you're running affects your store's speed, security, and compatibility. What if we told you checking takes less than a minute? Here's what to look for (and what to do next): https://lnkd.in/eGityYq9
