Do plants need soil to grow? Actually, no. We’re launching hardware to @Space_Station that will use hydroponics & aeroponics to grow plants without granular matter like soil. This will help us go farther in space & could help improve Earth’s food systems! go.nasa.gov/3uYLdvB

We think we know who SuperTIGER wants to win the #SuperBowl! ? The SuperTIGER mission had its big win back in 2013 when it broke a record for 55 days in flight for a super pressure balloon, which when fully inflated spans the entirety of a football field!
When SuperTIGER’s balloon reaches its maximum altitude, near 130,000 feet (40,000 meters), its envelope has expanded to a diameter of 460 feet (140 meters) -- big enough to spin a football field in its center.

Thank you, next👋 This February, we're saying goodbye to Jupiter and hello to Venus! Once Jupiter departs our skies at the end of the month, the post-sunset sky will be devoid of naked-eye planets — but early birds will be able to see Venus from 4 a.m. to sunrise!
