The HackHoodie presents a 48-hour hackathon, in association with Major League Hacking (MLH) for the first time. This hackathon is open to every inquisitive individual around the world. Get ready for a hackathon that focusses on learning made fun. The HackHoodie provides you with the opportunity and an environment to assimilate the basics and hands-on experience on different technologies. It will be a great chance to interact with diverse minds around the globe.

What is a Hackathon?
A hackathon is an invention marathon where you can work with people around the globe to build a project related to technology! It isn't about hacking into a system, it's instead about hacking something together and learning a great deal in the process.

Who can participate?
Everyone is welcome to participate, be it, students, professionals or aliens from different planets!

How long will it be on for?
The event will be running for about 48 hours from 26th March to 28th March.

How much does it cost?
Nothing. Participation to HackHoodie is completely free, thanks to our sponsors!

How big can a team be?
You can form teams of 2 to 4 people. Most teams aim to have a mix of people with both design and developer skills. Remember we won't accept project submissions from individual applicants

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
