Q. I just purchased a 2008 Ford . How can I check to see if it can run on E85 ?

A. Look for a E85 Label inside your Fuel Door and or check your VIN number. Write down the 8th Character in your VIN number and call your local Ford Dealer. With that 8th character they will be able to tell you if your vehicle is a Flex Fuel .

A. Part of General Motors Live Green Go Yellow campaign is that they have added Yellow Gas caps to all their 2006-2008 Models or check your VIN# for verification that the model you are looking at is in fact a FFV model.

It's appeal is not only that it typically cost less than unleaded , not only that it shifts and lowers our dependency from foreign based oil to supporting American based Agri- Business; but to many, the greatest appeal is simply that E85 is a fuel product that actually directly competes with Big Oil. Oregon Intelligent Ethanol Systems, LLC Flexkit is the first Flex Fuel Converter approved by the EPA.

Oregon Intelligent Systems "We can now announce that we have just received the first approval from the EPA�s National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory, covering the OBD II testing.
