I'm Christine, it's nice to meet you.

For over 10 years I've led design strategy for civic tech teams and startups so we could ship and scale user-centered products.

I optimize for clarity over cleverness, designing a system over a one-off, and empathetic leadership.

I'm a lot of things, but most days I'm a team lead and senior product designer. My career has included hearty portions of establishing design practices, building healthy teams, and guiding user-centered product strategy, with a side of UX engineering and visual design.

Currently, I'm a Senior Designer at Compiler where we make government services accessible for all. I previously worked for 18F and the Massachusetts Digital Service.
