- In a Finder window, navigate to the Applications folder.
- While pressing the Control button on your keyboard, click GitHub Desktop.
- Choose Move to Trash.
- In the upper-left corner of your screen, select the Finder menu.
- Click Empty Trash.
- Read the warning in the pop-up box and click Empty Trash.
- In a Windows Explorer window, navigate to Control Panel.
- Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
- Right-click the entry named GitHub, then click Uninstall/Change.
- Select "Remove the application from this computer."
- Click OK.
