Contributions to SIL may be designated for the:

• Development and publication of minority language dictionaries
• Development of software for those working in minority languages
• Development of complex scripts and fonts for minority languages
• Pike Center Research
• Your preference
• Undesignated donations will be used where there is the most need.

All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law.

Donations can also be made online.  You will receive an acknowledgement for your tax records. 

How SIL is Funded

Resources for the work of SIL are provided primarily by individuals and organizations interested in SIL's work. In addition, for many of its larger projects, SIL seeks grants from a variety of other sources, both public and private. Less than one percent of its income is derived from any sort of government source.
