In “L.A. Unified Students’ Pathways to College: Four-Year College Application Patterns,” Carrie E. Miller, Meredith Phillips, and Kyo Yamashiro examine whether and where Los Angeles Unified School District students apply to college and how patterns differ by students' ethnic/racial backgrounds to learn more about their pathways to college and where supports are needed.

In “Thinking about Quality and Schools,” Tami Kopischke Smith, Faith Connolly, Vaughan Byrnes, Rachel Durham, and Marc Stein outline new thinking on how to approach and frame school quality.

In “Student Learning Plans: Options for a Pilot Project in D.C.,” Elizabeth Grant, Autem Clay, Aubrey DeBoer, and Laura Groth highlight options for districts considering piloting student learning plans.

"Under What Conditions Do School Districts Learn from External Partners? The Role of Absorptive Capacity": Caitlin C. Farrell, Cynthia E. Coburn, and Seenae Chong explore organizational conditions for research use and for productive partnerships between school districts and external partners.

"Making It: Latino Students’ Pathways to College": This REL Midwest documentary shares evidence-based practices to support Latino students on their pathways to postsecondary education.

"Ready for the Future: Career Preparation in Rural Communities": This REL Midwest documentary highlights how students in rural Minnesota communities explore and prepare for careers.

"Exploring Educator Diversity in Tennessee": In this seventh episode of The TNth Period: Education Research in Tennessee podcast, co-hosts Erin O'Hara of the Tennessee Education Research Alliance and Laura Booker of the Tennessee Department of Education are joined by Jason A. Grissom, Franklin Willis, Laura Delgado, and Sylvia Flowers to discuss new research on retention patterns among teachers of color in Tennessee and possible explanations for these patterns.
