Submissions are due July 22, 11:59 pm PDT.
AERA accepts two types of submission: an individual paper and a session submission.
Location and Theme:
The 2021 AERA Annual Meeting will be held April 9-12 in Orlando, Florida, under the theme “Accepting Educational Responsibility.”

Topic:
Leaders of the Oregon Department of Education/Oregon State University English Language Learner Partnership will share findings from three policy briefs focused on understanding multilingual students’ experiences in Oregon schools, including the insights Oregon has gained from analyzing data about current, former, ever, and never English Learners; findings about ELs’ access to core content courses in high school; and research about family engagement for ELs with disabilities. The presenters will discuss how findings have impacted policy and practice and reflect on action steps needed, including implications for supporting ELs during and after the current pandemic.
